I can't believe the trilogy is over, I might just cry. This book brought me on an emotional roller coaster (I literally cried during a couple of scenes). You know that feeling when a book is so good you want to forget the whole plot just so you can read it again? This is exactly how I feel right now especially this book in particular. My honest opinion was that this book was the best out of all three of them. Emotions ran high, and the drama was top notch.
I really liked how this book basically left off right where Sweet Peril ended. Very minimal summary of the last book which I really like. And how the book introduced Kaidan on page 12. PAGE 12. This gets me hooked every time when they introduce the alluring male interest in the beginning pages. I've got to say Wendy Higgins, you have made my favourite authors list. Along with Jennifer L. Armentrout who actually introduced me to the series and I started to fall in love just by reading the first 15 pages of Sweet Evil.
Can I just say everyone, that I was giggling like a girl throughout the WHOLE BOOK. I was seriously talking to myself reciting lines in the book and sometimes laughing so hard for maybe 2 minutes straight. Man, I got the tingles reading some scenes. You can really feel the tension that Kaidan and Anna went through, what they had to risk and the love they felt for each other. Dang, I just really loved this book and I wish it didn't end.
The ending of the book was so sweet. Yes it was quite predictable but I didn't care, I kind of liked the big battle and Anna's father made me cry a lot. Especially at the end GOSHDARNNIT I WANT TO READ IT AGAIN. I really do not want this to end!! Noooooo!!
Oh goodness gracious what can I say about Jay and Marna. THEY WERE SO CUTE. Ginger and Blake too GAH!!! And even Zania and Kope (even though they're like SUPER quiet). I loved them all, they are really cute and so adorable. I think I have to ship all of them. But who I ship the most is Kaidan and Anna (duh!).
Honestly though, some of the scenes were kinda unreal like during the battle. But then again it's paranormal fiction so...
But what can I say, it was kind of a typical paranormal romance book but I love it, don't judge. I like these books with guys like Kaidan and that can make me laugh like a maniac. It's like a taste of what falling in love feels like and the things you would sacrifice for another person. My heart melted so many times and I said AWWWWWW countless times.
Good news: WENDY HIGGINS IS WRITING A BOOK IN KAIDAN'S P.O.V AND I WAS LITERALLY JUMPING WITH JOY WHEN I FIRST HEARD THE NEWS.
I feel like this is my best review yet *pats myself on the back* (I literally did that just as I typed it). Probably because this is such a good book. First time I don't have a gif in my review and it's actually a long review. Wow, I actually accomplished something. I RECOMMEND YOU READ THE WHOLE SERIES. FALL IN LOVE WITH IT LIKE I DID!!! I feel like I'm missing something that I should talk about but my laptop is overheating and it's getting really hot so I'm going to leave you guys with that.
